Real Madrid are frontrunners in the race to sign Spanish right-back Pedro Porro, Portuguese outlet O Jogo report.
The 22-year-old belongs to Manchester City but he is currently on loan at Sporting CP.
The Portuguese side would like to sign Porro on a permanent deal and will try to do everything possible despite having financial problems. If Sporting fail to secure his signing, Real Madrid could go directly to Man City.
This term so far, Pedro has played 15 matches and recorded two goals and two assists. The youngster has already made his debut for the senior national team after his confident performances from the last term.
