Real Madrid plan on offering Marco Asensio a contract extension, Diario AS say. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old's current contract with the Whites expires in 2023.
As per previous rumours, Asensio considered leaving the club as he was unsatisfied with the lack of playing time. However, he's featured more prominently in the recent games, with Carlo Ancelotti saying that he was happy with Marco's attitude and performances.
This term so far, Asensio has played 550 minutes across 13 minutes for Los Blancos, recording four goals and one assist. He's started in just five matches.
