Revealed: Club Barcelona almost sold Dembele to

Barcelona 'almost sold Ousmane Dembele to Manchester City' in the summer, according to CatRadio.

The club's sporting director Mateu Alemany even travelled to England to try to reach an agreement with the Citizens.

At first, Man City didn't want to pay for Dembele. Then, Barcelona offered to swap Ronald Araujo and Ousmane Dembele for Aymeric Laporte and Raheem Sterling.

There was also an opportunity to swap Dembele for Sterling, but the Englishman wanted to stay at the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling remains heavily linked to Barcelona. Barca could land him on loan in January.
