Smith Rowe match Cesc Fabregas record after his goal against Watford

His excellent performance against Watford saw him match a record held by only three other Arsenal stars, including former midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Smith Rowe became the fourth Arsenal player at the age of 21 or under to score in three straight Premier League games, following in the footsteps of former stars Nicolas Anelka, Jose Antonio Reyes and most recently Fabregas.

Despite being the league's biggest spenders in the summer with a £150million overhaul on six new signings, it has been Mikel Arteta's young stars that have shone most brightly this season.

Bukayo Saka and Smith Rowe have been excellent for Arsenal this season, and are the only members of Arteta's squad who are yet to miss a game in the Premier League this season.

Both were on target in Arsenal's emphatic 3-1 victory over Tottenham in the north London derby, that appeared to spark the Gunners' dramatic turnaround, and they have continued to remain unbeaten since.
