Ancelotti: 'Mbappe and Haaland would like to play at the new Bernabeu'

"Of course, Mbappe and Haaland would like to play at the new Bernabeu stadium," Carlo Ancelotti has told Diario AS.

"Yet the future of Real Madrid is already written by the current team and by other young players who will arrive. And I hope that the head coach remains the same. There is no doubt that Real Madrid will compete at the top for a long time," the Italian added.

Real Madrid remain heavily linked to the arrivals of both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. The Frenchman is expected to sign for free while the Whites would need to spend at least €75m on the Norwegian's signing.

The construction works at the New Santiago Bernabeu stadium are going to be completed by the end of 2022.
