Barcelona has reportedly delayed the return of Pedri, don't want to risk him

Diario Sport claim that Pedri could make his return in the Granada game on January 8. Initially, he was expected back in the first game after the Christmas break on January 2.

It's said that Barcelona do not want to take any risk with the 19-year-old.

He could also play against Linares in the Copa del Rey on January 5. However, because of their field and the expected intensity, the setting is seen as not ideal by the club.

Pedri has been out with a muscle injury since the Benfica game back in September. This term, he's only played four games for Barca.
