Barcelona and Inter Milan are nearing an agreement over a swap deal involving Luuk de Jong and Alexis Sanchez, Diario Sport's Josep Capdevila reports.
Barca reportedly want to offload De Jong, with Inter ready to welcome the Dutch striker. As for Alexis' return to Camp Nou, however, Xavi is yet to give his approval.
As per the reliable Javi Miguel of Diario AS, Xavi wants Ferran Torres instead, but views the Chilean as one of the alternatives.
Sanchez has played at Camp Nou between 2011 and 2014, making 141 appearances and scoring 47 goals.
He has been a rotational player for the Nerazzurri this term, playing 14 matches, scoring twice and assisting as many times.
