Manchester City player Benjamin Mendy has been charged with a 'further rape count' after being accused of numerous sexual offences, reports The Independent.
The 27-year-old is now charged with eight offences against five different women (all above the age of 16) - including seven rape complaints by four women.
After being arrested in August, Mendy has been in police custody all this while.
His trial will happen in 2022 but City have already suspended him from playing for the club.
