Bernardo delighted Man City fans recognising his form

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is delighted with his latest award.

Bernardo has hit the back of the net seven times this season, including a close-range finish against Everton last month, though he proved he has an eye for the spectacular with a sensational strike in Manchester City's 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old has been in inspired form this term and it's been recognised by the fans, with City's No.20 becoming the first player to win three consecutive Etihad Player of the Month awards.

“It's an honour," he said of the achievement. “I guess it is not easy. I am happy.

“I think these awards from our fans are the most important ones because they watch all the games. I am very happy they enjoy what I am doing."
