Emmanuel Dennis Knows Where The Goal Is – Ranieri

Watford of England attacker, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure has received another round of accolades from his club’s coach, Claudio Ranieri, who says his ward knows where the goal is, e360hubs.com reports.

Speaking in the wake of another stunning performance by Dennis, who became the second player in the club’s history to score in three straight matches, Ranieri said he was happy to see the star doing well.

The Italian football tactician, who handled Liecester City to the English Premier League title in 2016 and coached Chidozie Awaziem at FC Nantes of France three years later, added that Dennis has what good hitmen are made of.

He noted that the straightforward approach Dennis gives his hunt for goals has made it possible for him to net six in his first EPL matches and five assists to boot.

Although the latest sizzler from Dennis was not enough to save Watford from losing 2-1 against Chelsea, Ranieri is pleased that he took a positive gamble on the Super Eagles’ fringe player.

That was despite the fact that Dennis copped a knock last weekend after scoring in the 4-2 loss away to Leicester City.

Against all odds, Dennis started against Chelsea and netted in the 43rd minute, which left Ranieri reeling lyrical once again about the former Zorya of Ukraine, Club Brugge of Belgium and FC Cologne of Germany attacker.

Ranieri retorted: “I am very happy with Emmanuel, because straight away he wants to do something.

“He knows where the goal is and goes there straight away. I love these kind of players.” December 03, 2021 at 05:44PM
