Everton vs Burnley becomes third Boxing Day fixture to be postponed

Everton have confirmed that their Boxing Day fixture with Burnley has been postponed.

The decision has been made 'due to the number of COVID cases and injuries in our squad', the statement on the Toffees' official Twitter account states.

Earlier, the Premier League postponed Liverpool's game against Leeds, as well as Wolves' clash with Watford.

Earlier, the Premier League decided against a pause in the season as they intend to continue with the schedule 'where safely possible'.
