Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been ruled out of the Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur after registering a suspected Covid-19 positive test.
The Spaniard is being forced to isolate until he tests negative for Covid-19.
Jordan Henderson is also suffering from an illness (not related to Covid-19) and has been ruled out of action.
Jurgen Klopp’s side already has 3 players suffering from Covid-19 in Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho and Curtis Jones.
With the Premier League now ordering clubs to regularly test their players for Covid-19, more positive cases have crept up in the last week.
