According to Talksport reporter Alex Crook, Newcastle are 'closing in' on Atletico Madrid and England right-back Kieran Trippier.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Magpies are 'seriously interested' in the 31-year-old.
Man United submitted a €14m offer for Trippier last summer but Atleti refused it, Romano claims.
Romano adds that Lille centre-back Sven Botman is also high on Newcastle's transfer wishlist.
