This victory earned the Reds a trip to the semi-finals where they will face Arsenal.
The official dates for the two legs have been confirmed - Arsenal will host the first game on January 6, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45 PM UK time.
The Reds will host Arsenal at Anfield a week later on Jan 13 with the same kick-off time as the first leg.
