Real Madrid 'change their mind' on Jovic following Benzema injury scare

Real Madrid are likely to change their mind about sending out Luka Jovic on loan in the aftermath of the latest injury to Karim Benzema, Mario Cortegana reports.

Jovic stepped up in Benzema's absence and scored a poacher's goal against Sociedad - stealing in to score a bullet header, which in turn secured a 2-0 win for Madrid.

The goal against Sociedad was only Jovic's third for Real Madrid, but it should serve as a confidence booster.

The Serbian is yet to start a game for Los Blancos this season. However, that narrative is likely to change when Real Madrid welcome Inter to the Bernabeu on Tuesday.
