Real Madrid defender Marcelo considering retiring at the end of the season

Real Madrid captain Marcelo is seriously thinking of hanging up his boots at the end of the 2021/22 season.

The Brazilian has not featured regularly for Real Madrid this term, making just 5 appearances in the first half of the season.

The 33-year-old has enjoyed tremendous success at the Bernabeu, winning 22 trophies.

However, it looks like the curtain is about to fall on another illustrious career.

It's being reported that Real Madrid could have an administrative role for Marcelo when he quits active football.
