Barcelona versatile player Sergi Roberto set to go under the knife over a thigh injury.
Barcelona have confirmed that Sergi Roberto will be undergoing surgery to correct the problem in his right thigh.
Barca say Roberto has a problem in the femoral rectum in his right thigh.
The surgery will be conducted by club doctor Lasse Lempainen.
The midfielder has not played for Barca since October.
What this means is that Roberto will most likely miss the rest of the year.
