Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta have formed Chelsea's defensive spine under Thomas Tuchel.
All four of their contracts expire at the end of this season and the reliable James Robson of the Evening Standard has provided the latest update on their future.
He claims that the Blues 'still expect' Christensen to renew his deal while Silva and Azpi will most likely be handed a new one-year deal.
However, there is 'growing belief' that Rudiger will leave Chelsea as a free agent in the summer as he is not close to agreeing on a new deal.
All four of them can discuss a pre-contract with foreign clubs in January.
