Victor Moses ‘Buzzing’ Over Spartak Moscow’s Three Points In Big Win

Spartak Moscow of Russia winger, Victor Moses says he was excited with his ability to return to goals scoring form with the Russian Premier League club and help them get what he described as a big win, megasportsarena.com reports.

He acknowledged further that three points in the kitty was also a good end to the week for the Moscow-based side and went on to further admit that it was made sweeter for him being among the scorers.

The former Super Eagles’ star revealed that he was deeply delighted to mark his return from injury with a goal for Spartak in their 2-1 victory over Akhmat Grozny on Saturday at Otkrytie Bank Arena.

After missing their last game due to a muscular injury he suffered against SSC Napoli of Italy in the UEFA Europa League, Moses made hay just 12 minutes into Saturday’s game, when he got on the end of a brilliant team move with a left-footed low strike.

Daniil Utkin brought the game back to parity in first half stoppage time and Quincy Promes bagged the game-winning goal with three minutes to go, but that could not stop the evening of glee for 30-year-old Moses.

The enterprising former Chelsea of England star, who has also been one of Spartak’s standout players in the UEFA Europa League, directly participating in five of nine goals they have scored in the competition, is happy to make an impact once again.

Moses’ goal against Akhmat Grozny was his first of the season in the Russian Premier League and he posted afterwards on social media: “Big 3 points! Great win and buzzing to get on the scoresheet again!” December 05, 2021 at 02:37PM
