Aston Villa have reportedly kindled interest in the signing Yves Bissouma after snapping up Coutinho.
Bissouma is with Mali ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The midfielder is into the final 18 months of his Brighton contract.
In his news conference yesterday, Brighton manager Graham Potter said he expects all his players to stay at the club in this wndow.
