Barcelona consider signing new contracts with Gavi and Nico, Gerard Romero reports.
The club believe that Samuel Umtiti's contract extension on lower wages allows them to do so.
Gavi's current deal with the Catalans expires in 2023, Nico's in 2024.
The two players' wage is said to be quite low. Besides, there is reported interest in Gavi from outside.
Gavi has scored one goal and provided 3 assists in 17 appearances for the Catalans. Nico has netted 2 goals and recorded one assist in 17 apps.
