CIES top 20 of most valuable players in football 2022

Chelsea have a number of promising young players within their squad and they have set themselves up well for the coming years.

It's no surprise then, that a number of their players have made it into CIES Football Observatory's list of the top 100 most valuable players in the world.

Their algorithm calculates value based on a number of factors and shares an estimate value for the players.

Mason Mount is the highest ranked Chelsea player on the list, taking his place in 14th place, with an estimate value of €108.9 million.

Reece James is two spots below in 16th place with a valuation of €109.0 million, while Kai Havertz is 20th at €101.2 million.

Reported Chelsea targets Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham are among the top 6 while the list is topped by Madrid's Vinicius Jr.

Chelsea have 5 more players on the list of 100, with Lukaku, Chilwell, Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi and Werner all listed.
