Cristiano Ronaldo has an extra reason to be motivated as Manchester United look to secure a top-4 finish.
According to The Athletic, the Portuguese 'will face a 25 per cent pay cut' if the Red Devils fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Cristiano's £385,000-per-week salary will dip to just £288,000-per-week, and he will therefore lose his stature as the highest-earning player at the club.
The Red Devils are currently fourth in the Premier League table although sixth-placed Arsenal, who are just two points behind, have a game in hand (against Tottenham).
