Barcelona vs Real Madrid: La Liga confirms a new date and time for the second El Clasico of the season. Barcelona and Real Madrid will face off in the second El Clasico of the 2021-22 season on 12 January at 20:00 GMT.

The second El Clasico of the 2021-22 season has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 12 January. However, there was some confusion over when the match will be played, in the afternoon or late evening. It has now been decided it will be played at 20:00 CET.
Initially, it was reported that it could take place even at 16:00. It was widely accepted by the Asian fans since they would be able to view it at a normal hour but not for the European ones.
Finally, after considering all factors, the time, date and place of the El Clasico has been set. It is a pity that it lasted so long. Let’s hope that by that time no further adjustments for this tie as the reverse fixture has already been set for 12 January 2022.
What happened last year: Barca hosted the Galacticos at Camp Nou on 24 Oct 2021 and lost 2-1 at their home ground.
