A couple of weeks ago, in a rare comment on his future, Erling Haaland suddenly accused Borussia Dortmund of pressuring him into making a decision about his next club before February.
Now, speaking to Sky Sports, the Norwegian explains why he spoke out then.
"I don't really want to say too much about it, but I felt it was time for me to say something," Haaland said.
"A lot of others were speaking - so that was it. Now, I don't want to say too much. I said what I said, and now we move on."
Haaland is likely going to be the biggest transfer of the next transfer window. It's understood that a £64m release clause kicks in this summer, but with his salary and the agent fees, his new club will have to pay a fortune to get the 21-year-old.
