Newcastle United have failed in their ploy to sign a quality centre-midfielder on loan in the January transfer window.
As per The Telegraph, both PSG midfielder Gini Wijnaldum and Man United outcast Donny van de Beek have rejected their offers.
The reason behind this is because of Newcastle’s position in the Premier League right now.
Neither Wijnaldum nor Donny want to be associated with a relegation race right now.
Newcaste have made two signings so far in January, roping in Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid and Chris Wood from Burnley.
