Harvey Elliott shares latest fitness update on Instagram

One of the big blows earlier in the season for Liverpool was losing Harvey Elliott after a horror injury against Leeds.

There were fears that he would miss the rest of the season but the 18-year-old has been recovering rapidly.

Elliott has shared a number of updates on his Instagram account and his latest post gives cause for optimism.

The attacking midfielder posted a picture of him working with a ball on the training ground captioned, "New year, same grind. Not long now."

There is still no concrete date set for Elliott to be back among the first team, but it looks like fans won't have to wait for too long!
