France and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema says he has replaced former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Benzema admits he feels he's filled the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.
It's now over three years since the Manchester United striker left Real for Juventus.
Benzema told Telefoot: "Thanks to me if Real Madrid is doing well after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo? I don't like to place myself in these things and say that it's thanks to me.
"I learned a lot with Cristiano. I was ready.
I worked even more.
"Quality on the pitch is nothing new, we just had to score more decisive goals."
