List of Liverpool players who might become free agents in the summer

Liverpool's fans have been anxiously waiting to see what the club are able to do about Mo Salah's contract but they have some more immediate concerns.

4 players have contracts expiring in 2022 and the Reds have decisions to make. Let's take a look at the latest updates for these players.

Divock Origi
Origi has been linked with a move away from the club for more regular football and it's hard to see him stay at the club beyond this season. Divock cannot be allowed to leave on a free however.

At age 26, Origi could still net Liverpool a good price that they can use to finance other moves but there seems to be a resistance to selling Origi in January at least.

James Milner
James Milner has come in for criticism after his latest performances, with fans questioning if he can still get it done at the highest level for his club.

Milner's longevity in his career is second to none, but the club could be served by letting him walk and bringing in younger players. Neil Jones has reported that the Reds will allow him to do so.

Loris Karius
Loris Karius has been expected to leave Liverpool for a while now but hasn't been able to find a home for himself.

Klopp has declared that Karius is 5th choice in the goalkeeping hierarchy and the club have made it clear that they have moved on from him. He's gone in 2022.

Adrian
Another goalkeeper supplanted by the rise of Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian has now become 3rd choice at the club. It's unlikely that the Reds will renew his contract after his current deal runs out either.

He played well against Preston earlier in the season and professed his desire to keep fighting for a spot, but there has been no noise about giving him a new contract.
