Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has revealed he had private training pitch built for him during his time at AS Roma.

Egypt striker Mohammed Salah has revealed he had a training pitch built just for him during his time at Italian club AS Roma.

The Liverpool forward spent two seasons in Rome with Roma, initially on loan from Chelsea before making the move permanent.

Salah struggled to nail down a place at the Stamford Bridge club and had never scored more than ten goals in a league season prior to his first season at the Stadio Olimpico in 2015/16.

According to the Daily Star, the two-time Premier League golden boot winner has now revealed he rented a separate apartment while still playing for AS Roma and had a training pitch built at the backyard where he worked on his shooting which he admits help him improve.

The best thing you could have is a serious conversation with yourself. Just get a coffee and just sit like this and just ask yourself what you want,” he said.

“Some people can't face themselves properly. But I have no problem with that. If I'm struggling, I just face myself and just feel where I am.

” Salah has been a key member in Liverpool’s resurgence under German manager Jurgen Klopp winning the Premier League’s top scorers award twice and the Egyptian is now regarded as one of the world’s best marksman after getting nominated for the 2021 FIFA’s The Best Award alongside Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski.
