According to tier-one source David Ornstein of The Athletic, Newcastle has made a last-ditch attempt to sign Dele Alli.
The newly-rich Premier League side has reportedly made an inquiry about getting the Englishman on loan.
The Tottenham midfielder is believed to be extremely close to completing a deadline day move to Everton.
The 25-year-old is understood to have agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Toffees. It's interesting to see if the Magpies succeed in their push for Alli.
