Nigeria striker Paul Onuachu wins 2021 Belgian Golden Shoe award

Paul Onuachu has won the 2021 Belgian Golden Shoe award thanks to his impressive game last year.

The Nigerian international was superb last year for Genk netting 29 goals and also helped the Super Eagles to qualify for 2021 AFCON.

The Super Eagles striker however did not travel with the Nigerian squad to Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations due to injury

Paul Onuachu who is a Super Eagles striker has recorded his name in the history books after being announced as the winner for the 2021 Belgian Golden Shoe award.

His incredible performances in the year 2021 for Belgian giants Genk helped the Super Eagles striker to land the award thereby becoming the first Nigerian to win it.

Paul Onuachu got 333 votes to win the award beating the Club Brugge duo of Noa Lang (272 votes) and Charles De Ketelaere (271 votes) according to the report on Complete Sports and Brila.
