Xavi has 'lost confidence' in Dest, doesn’t have him in future plans

Xavi Hernandez has lost all confidence in Sergino Dest’s ability to excel in his Barcelona side, claims Sport.

The fact that the right-back wasn’t in the squad for the Real Madrid game indicates that he isn’t in the manager’s plans anymore.

Barca are now willing to listen to offers for Dest and could sell him for the right offer in January.

But, the USA international is contracted to 2025 at the Camp Nou and isn’t really eager to leave anytime soon.

But with Xavi preferring to play Dani Alves over him, Dest could be forced to leave Barca to get regular minutes elsewhere.
