Xavi insist Alba is untouchable after the Bilbao disaster

After the loss against Athletic Bilbao, Xavi was asked to comment on Jordi Alba's performance.

"He suffered from discomfort early on. I will not speak on any individual player today. The whole defence suffered," the Barcelona coach replied.

"Jordi Alba made great sacrifices to play today, he is untouchable, I will never blame him for his stumbles today.”

Jordi was by far the weakest link in Barca's defence against Bilbao.

Against the Basques, Alba won only two of his six duels, lost possession 33 times, committed two fouls, failed all of his crosses, got dribbled past three times and gave away a penalty.
