Xavi name one player who recovered from Covid, wants Mallorca game suspended

"We are in an extreme situation. I think we have between 17 and 18 casualties. Samuel Umtiti is the only one that we recovered. It was the right moment to suspend the game," Xavi said in the pre-Mallorca presser.

"Mallorca also have problems. We would have to appeal to common sense. But there are the rules and we have no choice but to compete with who we are. It is no excuse.

"It makes no sense to play tomorrow, but yes, we must do it, we will do it and we will fight. I think the match should be postponed.

"We will have to call up many players a lot from the reserves and it is clear that I am worried. I no longer know how many injuries we gave, every day there is a new injury."

With Umtiti back, Barcelona have six players out with injuries, nine due to COVID-19 and two suspended.

According to La Liga rules, a match won't be postponed as long as the club has 13 available players, five of which are registered at the first team.
