Barcelona plan to renew Gavi's contract 'soon', new buyout clause revealed

Barcelona are tidying up details to renew Pablo Gavi's contract, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Gavi's new buyout clause will be set at €1bn when he signs the new deal.

Currently, Gavi's buyout clause stands at €25m.

The midfielder's contract expires next June, with clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea said to be interested.

It must be noted that Gavi is still not registered as a senior player with Barca.
