Los Blancos' president Florentino Perez is 'absolutely convinced' the Borussia Dortmund forward will join them in a few months.
It is believed that Madrid have the financial power to pull off deals for both Haaland and Kylian Mbappe who is expected to arrive as a free agent.
At the same time, Barcelona are not throwing in the towel and will try to beat their rivals to the Norwegian's signature until the end. That said, their financial situation is known to be difficult, so their offer might not be as attractive.
