The La Liga have hit out at the offensive chants sung by some Espanyol fans against Gerard Pique during their 2-2 draw against Barcelona last week.
During the game, Pique was continued abused by the fans – who decided to attack his wife Shakira and his son too.
The chant went something like: “Pique, you b******, Shakira has cheated on you. Your son is from Wakaso, and you are a f*****.”
Espanyol could be hit with a fine for failing to control the crowd during the game, with the referee also being called a ‘son of a b****’.
Pique was sent off towards the end of the game after headbutting an Espanyol player during an ordeal.
