Quoted by The Athletic, Ralf Rangnick said in his post-match interview: "As far as I know, there is some investigation [into fans throwing object at Anthony Elanga] going on from Leeds United.
"In the end Anthony looked well and he was happy at scoring.
"Obviously things like that should not happen."
Manchester United humbled Leeds 4-2 at Elland Road but the weather and the home side didn't make things easy.
A proper investigation should be conducted as Anthony looked in pain after getting hit in the second half.
These instances shouldn't become a regular thing as it could seriously hurt players.
