As per Fabrizio Romano (5 stars), Ronald Araujo did not reject any offer from Barcelona despite what the Spanish press has been reporting.
The parties are still negotiating. Extending the defender's contract is a priority for the Catalans.
Multiple English clubs, including Manchester United, are keeping a close eye on Araujo. However, there is nothing advanced.
The 22-year-old's contract at Barca runs until 2023. It's said that Ronald wants to continue at Camp Nou but wants a significant pay rise, a salary that would correspond to his role on the team.
Araujo is currently one of the lowest-paid players on the team.
