Barca 'confident' they will extend Araujo and Gavi contracts

The credible Gerard Romero has denied that reports from Marca saying that Ronald Araujo and Gavi had rejected the extension offers from Barcelona. There had been no new meetings, so there wasn't anything to reject.

The Catalans will meet Araujo's party after the international break.

Another credible source, La Vanguardia's Anais Marti, reports that Barca are confident that they will extend the contract of both players.

The Uruguayan's intention is to continue at Camp Nou but he wants a better salary. Blaugrana are willing to negotiate.

As for Gavi, the youngster has rejected multiple offers from other clubs. He wants to succeed at Barcelona.
