15 Premier League stars fail drug test between 2015 and 2020, details of cases 'withheld'

As many as 15 Premier League stars have failed drug tests from 2015 to 2020 but not even one was banned, claims a report by the Daily Mail.

The publication submitted around three Freedom of Information requests to the UK Anti-Doping agency to access this information.

Out of the 15, at least 12 were found using banned performance-enhancing drugs. Despite that, not even one of them were sanctioned while details of these cases continue to be 'withheld'.

In total, 88 footballers from England, Wales and Scotland have returned positive drug samples after being tested for doping over the last seven years.
