Carlo Ancelotti sets historic Champions League record after beating Chelsea

Real Madrid are through to the Champions League semi-finals after beating Chelsea 5–4 on aggregate.

Carlo Ancelotti has now become the first manager to reach the semi-finals of the competition in four straight decades.

The Italian specialist has done it with Juventus (1999), AC Milan (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007) and Real Madrid (2014, 2015, 2022).

Madrid will face Premier League giants Manchester City in the next round with Ancelotti looking to win the Champions League for the fourth time.
