Chilwell set to start training with academy next week, possible return date revealed

Ben Chilwell has been out since mid-November after tearing his ACL in the Champions League win against Juventus.

Chelsea have suffered in the absence of the left-back but there is finally some good news for fans - Chilwell will start training with the academy from next week.

He will not be ready to play a game this season but Chelsea are hopeful that he will be able to return to the field during pre-season.

Chelsea have a pre-season game scheduled against Arsenal on July 23 and will play a couple more during that month. We could see Chilwell in at least one of these games.
