'He doesn't even have a contract': Xavi reportedly uses Dembele as example in front of dressing room

Xavi had a special talk with the squad following that recent defeat to Cadiz at Camp Nou, El Chiringuito report.

The Barcelona coach wanted to encourage the players to keep fighting in La Liga as it is more important than Europa League.

Xavi singled out Ousmane Dembele in a positive way, praising his hard work and commitment.

"Look at him, he doesn't even have a contract," Xavi reportedly said in front of the dressing room.

Dembouz's contract expires at the end of the season and there still is no agreement in place regarding an extension.

The coach also had a separate chat with Memphis Depay, Frenkie de Jong and Clement Lenglet. It's said that he was unhappy with their efforts during the game.
