Man City reportedly used banners to cover empty stands after failing to sell enough tickets

Man City were reportedly not able to sell all their allotted tickets for the FA Cup semi-final game against Liverpool.

The Citizens had to cover their empty stands with banners of their club logo to save face after not enough tickets were bought by their supporters.

City ended up getting eliminated from the FA Cup after a 3-2 loss to Liverpool, ending their dreams of a possible treble.

Pep Guardiola’s side now have the Premier League and Champions League titles to play for and are just 1 point above Liverpool at the top of the league.
