Romelu Lukaku 'pushing' for Inter Milan return after failed Chelsea spell

Romelu Lukaku is 'pushing' for a return to Inter Milan after struggling with Chelsea in the Premier League, reports Calciomercato.

The 28-year-old has reportedly informed Inter of his desire to leave Stamford Bridge. However, to don the Nerazzurri shirt again, Lukaku must agree to a 50% pay cut.

Lukaku, who is yet to score in the Premier League in 2022, currently earns a whopping €13 million per season.

Chelsea splurged £97.5 million to bring Lukaku back in 2021 but less than a year later, he's already eager to return to Inter.

The Belgian has scored just five times in the English top flight this season, which is certainly not good enough.
