Ronaldo Nazario names one player who's being unfairly ignored by Ballon d'Or

"Benzema deserves the Ballon d'Or, I've been saying it for years and getting criticised. But he deserves it, he's a great forward," Ronaldo Nazario has told Sky Italia.

Well, this is the recognition Karim Benzema fully deserves. He is now one goal away from becoming the Champions League top scorer this season, and the current leader - Robert Lewandowski - is already out of the competition.

On Wednesday, the list of Benzema's main Ballon d'Or competitors was revealed by reporters.

The 2022 Ballon d'Or ceremony is going to take place in October. This time, the best player of the 2021/22 season will get the award.
