Manchester United have 'reached a verbal agreement in principle' with Erik ten Hag, according to The Athletic, a tier-one source.
The Red Devils are currently in the process of finalising a four-year deal with the Dutchman and his coaching staff. Ajax are aware of the negotiations.
Man United 'want to be respectful' to both Ten Hag and the Eredivisie giants who are still competing for a domestic double.
There would be 'written agreement or announcement' until Ajax face domestic rivals PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Cup final on Sunday, April 17.
