United's transfer budget could be 'as low as £20m' if unable to qualify for Champions

Erik ten Hag could be forced to work with a really low transfer budget if Man United are not able to qualify for the Champions League next season.

As per the Daily Mail, football agents are being told by the Red Devils that their budget could be as low as £20m if unable to secure a Champions League finish.

If so, then United could be forced into looking to sign free agents in the summer transfer window.

However, if they’re able to secure big funds from selling certain players, that is likely to be added to increase the transfer budget.

The Red Devils are likely to make as many as 4 signings in the summer window as they aim to strengthen their squad for next season.
